Thanks to all of you who have purchased from me in the past and for visiting my e-Bay store or auction and welcome to all new visitors.

I prefer PayPal payments because it expedites the payment for me and the shipping for you,  but I will certainly accept money orders and checks (held to clear).  My PayPal address is rae@artfulmemories.com

Mailed payments must be received within 7 days of the close of the auction or win date.

I am not a business, but a private stamper and scrapper like most of you.  I am radically downsizing my involvement with this craft due to financial difficulties and returning to work full-time.

Due to my proximity to the nearest non-postal shipping sites, I do not offer any other shipping except USPS unless the weight of the order is truly excessive.  Alternate methods of shipping for these items will be negotiated on a case by case basis. 

I don't ship without delivery confirmation (50 cents) unless you insure the shipment, since it's a way to show I really shipped it in case of a total loss.  Insurance is recommended but not required but without insurance I will not be liable for damaged goods.  In no event will I be responsible for lost shipments.

I charge only actual shipping and I use a nice little postal scale so I can be accurate.  To expedite processing of your order, please include your zip code so I can calculate the shipping costs.

It has come to my attention that the above information seems an insufficient description of shipping costs for some folks, so let me elaborate...

EXACTLY what I charge you is everything it costs to prepare and ship the items you purchase to your chosen destination.  That includes postage (calculated using the USPS web site postal calculator), delivery confirmation fee and packaging materials (if applicable).  
I go to great lengths to keep your shipping costs down and usually am able to offer two methods of shipment.  I do not charge a handling fee as some sellers do.   I live in a rural area and I do not purchase enough items in boxes or receive enough mail in padded envelopes to support shipping to you in recycled materials.  I do, however, purchase padded envelopes and small boxes to use when you wish NOT to use priority shipping - however please understand that the cost of those is passed on to you - so sometimes the cheapest for postage is not the cheapest way to ship.   

I encourage you to use Priority as it is somewhat faster, sometimes cheaper since USPS provides the majority of the packaging materials - I absorb the tape and wrapping in these cases.  A majority of the time, since most of what I sell is not fragile, I'll ship it to you in a flat rate Priority envelope for $4.60.  Also, with the addition of the new Priority flat-rate shipping boxes, a LOT of product can be shipped for $8.95 up to 20 pounds.  As long as the items all fit in the box - it's a go!

E-mail me if you have any questions and PLEASE ask before you purchase to avoid hurt feelings and problems.  I do consider all purchases final but will attempt to work out any problems that might arise.
